New Better Italian Meatballs
Beef and Pork Mince, 500g
Sourdough bread, 2 slices, cubed
Onion, roughly chopped
Thyme leaves, to taste
Chilli flakes, to taste
Oregano, to taste
Salt and pepper, to taste
Carrot, 1, grated
Combine bread and onion in the bowl of a food processor and process until well chopped ( you can try adding a small cube of parmesan cheese for added flavour).
Preheat the oven to 190 degrees celsius. Combine the breadcrumb mixture and all other ingredients in a large bowl and mix with your hands until well combined. Shape into balls and place on a baking tray.
Place the tray in the oven and bake until brown and cooked through.
